A tank of a bat: The Rawlings TRIO is a admirable bat once broken in but sadly good luck getting there naturally. This bats needs adaquate heat rolling to be powerful but once there its extremely hot. We do not shave the TRIO's but with heat rolling alone its still #3 on our list.
One of the first bats from the manufacturer to utilize its revolutionary 3-piece hybrid design, the Trio is built for pure performance at the plate. Its advanced design draws impact energies away from the two end components of the bat, focusing it in the sweet spot for more distance and power than ever before. This connective conduit also helps to minimize shock on heavy contact, making it one of the smoothest swings we’ve tested.

Dispite the bright green paint-job, the new Makos are comparable to the 2015 version. As far as we can tell the entire bat just gained new paint.
The Easton Mako is designed to make the most out of any swing, showing off an oversized sweet spot with contact-optimized weighting. Its Thermo Composite Technology delivers a more responsive composite, sharply increasing energy transfer and rebound forces compared with last year’s widely feared model. The Mako features Easton’s exclusive ConneXionATM technology to create a more unified feel, and its synthetic grip provides batters with a high level of control with minimal sting.
